Madriz

Fantastic place to eat - I have never had better tapas! The lamb is the signature dish, served with scalloped potatoes. Absolutely delicious, with the lamb perfectly seasoned and falling off the bone. I have never had a bad dish here!

I had to pop into Madriz for dessert with my takeaway coffee and I ended up sitting at counter of this very intimate restaurant bar. Patrons sit inside or outside and I was immediately impressed by our quickly tapas were being served and the familial ambiance of this place since there were avid regulars highly endorsing particular dishes. I ordered the Quesada, Northern Spanish cheesecake served with lemon cream and caramel. It was simply delightful, not too sweet and most satisfying. I’m sold on the idea of revisiting to try recommended dishes. It’s truly an amazing atmosphere, chatty, chilled out with exceptional service!

Overall a so good experience in it for us. Very good food and tasty bread we had. Also nice service. Clean and tidy restaurant. To dine in is no doubts a nice time and can enjoy good your food easily. Would like to visit it again.

We found this place online, went there to enjoy some tapas. The food was really good, with friendly staff from Barcelona. And we enjoyed the Sangria too!

Very friendly and hospitable staff, great food and affordable drinks in a charming location. The tapas and wine where authentic and the service was very pleasant and efficient. Our only complaint would have been the limited and cramped seating inside but we sat outside seating as it was a nice afternoon. Recommend.
