Nectar Catering & Cafe

Nectar was an okay spot in the middle of Whangarei. Service was slow, considering we were first ones into the cafe the wait for food one meal was 20 minutes . When omlette came it was average. Good atmosphere.

Very friendly and fast service. Awesome coffee and tasty breakfast. Building is a bit tired but clean.

Provide vegan food here which is great when you want a change up! Always great foodd and service from this great little cafe

Have been here many times over the years and it seems to have lost its mojo - possibly new ownership ? Last visit the cabinet food almost all gone at 12.30, ordered from menu and was delivered the wrong order, empty tables not cleared. Coffee is good and they offer a coffee card scheme plus goody card rewards.

Although it looks a small shop, from the entrance, Nectar has a huge dining area towards the back. The food cabinets hold a good variety of food and they have a blackboard menu too. The food is nice and if you are gluten intolerant or vegetarian, you won't be disappointed. It has been voted the best cafe in Whangarei several times.
